Born and raised in South Texas, Garett Ramzinski’s passion for home building began long before he founded Alcista Homes. As a teenager, he learned the trade from the ground up working alongside his father, doing custom finish carpentry for one of San Antonio’s premier builders. Those early years on the job site instilled in him a deep appreciation for hard work, structural integrity, and the subtle details that elevate a house into a home.

With over 10 years of professional home-building experience, Garett combines hands-on technical expertise with a keen artistic eye and an uncompromising attention to detail. He views every project not just as construction, but as a canvas—approaching custom builds with the precise craftsmanship of an artisan.

The name Alcista stems from the Spanish word for “upward” or “rising”—a term often associated with growth, optimism, and momentum. Garett chose this name to reflect his core mission: helping families move upward into their next season of life through homes built to endure.

When he isn’t on the job site, Garett enjoys spending quality time with his family, listening to live music, fishing, and exploring the outdoors. True to his creative spirit, he also spends his free time crafting custom art and leather goods—a testament to his passion for creating lasting things by hand.
